Natural history close up can be difficult, especially at full
size. Here the subject appeared on the negative at it's full life
size.

The house spider, this is a female - they have the fat body - can
be a good subject to practice on. They are abundant and
relatively large. This one was allowed to run about until it got
fed up. It then stayed in this position for a long time, allowing
many shots to be taken with close up extension tubes and flash.
